Day 4 – Only His Word Stand

Day 4

Only His Word Stand

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 41:10 KJV

During turbulence, we try and find comfortable places to express our fears and our extreme anxiety. We place people and worthless idols in places that only God can restore and refill. If we are not careful within the dense areas, we will create idols and accidentally start disrespecting God. We except man to always be with us and be here for us. We expect that man would never leave us nor forsake us. We expect a man to strengthen us continuously. We hope so much from our spouses, friendships, and even our children.

I am not saying expect the worst; what I am clearly saying is, do not get upset when the person that you depended on made an error in YOUR judgment. Especially during a tragedy, war, grief, or any transition, where humans will make rash decisions.

When people make a mistake, charge it to them, not being God.

We have to STOP expecting others to be perfect. God is the only perfect God. The word of the Lord

commands us NOT to fear because He is with us.

He will be with you! Fear Not!

The Lord loves when you hold Him at His WORD.

Fear blinds real love. Fear destroys relationships. Fear builds negative friendships. Anxiety reduces your strength. Fear produces idols.

If you walk with Christ, especially in a crisis moment; Fear cannot hold you! Strength is unmeasurable. You can do all things because He is with you and because His righthand upholds you.

When I was in college, I dropped out of the engineering program and pursued a different degree.  I considered the classes to be much more comfortable. I dropped out because of fear and because I was operating in my strength. I told myself that engineering was too hard for me, and I was not smart enough to complete the program. I spoke negativity, and the enemy fed it; I failed my first math class for the engineering program, and the fear inside of me hindered my progression. When we put an expectation on ourselves or anyone else over God, we most likely will fail to fear.

When you place your expectations on God and in His word;

He becomes your strength in every situation; Your power is a world-wide crisis; Your fight in purpose; Your joy in your marriage; Your laughter in your friendships.

Only the Word of God is True.

What is He saying to you in His word?

Prayer: Father, please forgive me, I am sorry for rejecting Your strength and Your guidance. Lord, please do not allow my expectations of man to override the fact that You are the only perfect one. Lord, destroy every inch of fear and negativity that has taken over me. Create in me a clean heart, about myself, and my purpose. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen
