Proverbs 18:21 puts it this way: “The tongue has the power of life and death.” The stakes are high. Your words can either speak life, or your words can speak death. Our tongues can build others up, or they can tear them down.
DO NOT allow this virus OR any situation to BURY your confidence!
Traumatic situations do not affect us the same. If the situation that you are facing has caused you any emotional discomfort, it is imperative that you turn off the news and get off social media and encourage yourself.
We must learn how to speak into our lives, not spit on our lives.
Your trouble may seem terrifying, and your real-life storms are raging; it may rage, but it cannot take the confidence that God has given you.
At one point in my life, I was bound with the voice of the enemy, especially when trouble entered my life. I believed I was worthless. I felt my life was empty, and there was no point in living. I allowed guilt and shame to destroy my confidence in who I was becoming in Christ.
I had to fight back; you must fight back with positivity, even if you do not see or feel the manifestation of relief from trouble.
Fight back against every voice that contradicts your image in Christ.
Develop your confidence in catastrophic!
instead of dying to guilt!
instead of dying to shame!
instead of dying to fear of a virus!
Our Lord will give you a peace that surpasses all understanding, even for the situations to come.
